On Think Tanks Exchange, an initiative supported by the Think Tank Initiative, the Think Tank Fund, the Knowledge Sector Initiative and On Think Tanks, aims to encourage and support exchange between think tanks for the purpose of building new relationships, facilitating collaborative research projects, institutional building, and efforts to influence policy. After an open meeting in late 2013, ten participants from nine different countries formed three teams to conduct collaborative research: Self-Assessment of Performance, Communication Strategy, and Business Model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal of this collaborative study is to exchange information and reflections about the participating institutions and external communication culture, with a focus on the challenges of disseminating research results on sensitive issues. To do so, case study analysis by agency and a design-as-you-go approach were used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Communications Team was formed by researchers from four different organizations and three different continents. Researchers taking part in this collaborative study are Radka Vicenov\u00e1 from the Center for European and North Atlantic Affairs (CENAA \u2013 Slovak Republic); Mykola Stepanov from the Center for Political and Legal Reforms (CPLR \u2013 Ukraine), Francesca Uccelli from the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEP - with the Spanish abbreviation - Per\u00fa) and Ermy Ardhyanti from Article 33 Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
