As a follow-up activity to Batch-1 which was held on September 1 2023 in Jakarta, Article 33 Indonesia held an event with the theme "Training on Optimizing Educational Unit and Regional Government Planning through Educational Report Cards" on Friday (08\/09\/2023) in Bandung. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This activity presented four resource persons, namely Mr. Irsyad Zamjani as Head of the Center for Educational Standards and Policy (PSKP) of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Mrs. Fransisca Nur'aini from PSKP, Mr. Ahmad Fadilah from the Directorate of Vocational Schools, and Mr. Nandana Bhaswara from the Secretariat General of Pauddasmen. This activity was attended by 30 participants from 12 institutions\/organizations\/ offline at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Pasteur Bandung.

Education Report Card (RP) is an initiative to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. In the introduction mentioned by the Executive Director of Article 33 Indonesia, Mr. Santoso, although the vision and mission of the institutions present are different, they have the same goal of obtaining quality Indonesian education. One of them is through the Education Report Card which is used as a basis for the data collection system, so that there are references and points of reference for making improvements in the education sector.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

In the first session,<\/strong> conveyed that <\/span>RP is part of the Merdeka Belajar initiative, as an instrument to achieve the overall goals of the Merdeka Belajar program. RP encourages graduating students to achieve minimum standards and achieve the learning goals formulated in the Pancasila student profile. Mr. Irsyad Zamjani explained that RP is used as an instrument for self-reflection. With an illustration of the education quality assurance improvement cycle as follows.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. \u00a0Self-reflection of educational units and Regional Government;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. \u00a0Accreditation of school performance evaluation;\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Evaluation of Regional Government performance;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Plan to improve the quality of education;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Implementation of quality improvement; And<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Back again to the Education Report Card platform.

    In the second session,<\/strong> was conveyed by Mrs. Fransisca that in the RP not only data comes from the National Assessment, but there is Dapodik, data from the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, data from PTK EMIS, <\/span>tracer study<\/span><\/i>, data <\/span>platforms<\/span><\/i>, GTK data, data from BPS, data from training certification and so on, the data obtained is analyzed together by the team and then displayed in a comprehensive report. Regional minimum service standards (SPM) indicators and indices are determined by the Ministry of Home Affairs. At the provincial level it handles secondary and special education. At the city district level, PAUD and elementary schools, but with the exception of the Papua region.

    In the third session,<\/strong> Mr. Ahmad conveyed that Data Based Planning (PBD) in education units, in planning and budgeting 60%, data comes from the National Assessment (AN), while other data comes from Dapodik, BPS, SIMPKB, and others. From the AN results, problems are identified that describe the condition of the school, it is hoped that AN will not exist <\/span>drilling<\/span><\/i>. Because with AN it is hoped that the quality of the school will be visible <\/span>real.<\/span><\/i> From the RP, a plan is issued based on school problems. In the RP submenu fix, it can be studied via the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM), for all teachers who have learnID.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n

    In the fourth session<\/strong>, Mr. Nandana said that the Regional Government is obliged to implement the SPM. In 2018 SPM talks about whether students have access to school or not. In 2021 we will not only talk about access, but also the quality of learning in schools. There are three key elements, namely, citizen access to participate in education; improving the quality of education; as well as fulfilling the number and quality of educators and education personnel. All SPM indicators apply to all regions. Currently each region has an SPM education score, with this index the region knows how big it is <\/span>positioning<\/span><\/i>all this time. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Each material session was followed by a question and answer session, participants, many of whom came from educational units, asked questions and suggestions for improvement <\/span>platforms <\/span><\/i>this RP. Through this activity, it is hoped that participants will gain a deeper understanding of the features<\/span> and the use of RP in educational units and local government. Based on the differences in participant backgrounds, it is hoped that the benefits of RP can be spread to all groups <\/span>stakeholder<\/span><\/i> for the advancement of education in Indonesia<\/span>.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n
