Projects<\/strong><\/td>This study explores the potential revenue of the forestry and mining sectors at the local level with a focus on Merangin and Tebo Districts in Jambi Province, which have a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of One Licensing Information (SIP). This study maps the revenue of PNBP timber (PSDH and DR) and coal IUP royalties, and identifies potential revenue leakages that occur at the regional level. These findings are expected to provide policy recommendations to improve transparency, accountability, and management of the natural resource sector at the local level to maximize regional revenue.<\/td><\/tr>

This study explores potential \u201cleakage\u201d of forestry and mining sector revenues at the local level, with a focus on Tebo Regency and Merangin Regency, Jambi Province<\/strong>. This study aims to analyze the realization and potential of revenue in the two districts, which have a Memorandum of Understanding for the implementation of One Licensing Information (SIP) in the mining and plantation sectors. The main focus of this study is PNBP wood (PSDH and DR) in Merangin and Tebo Districts, as well as coal IUP royalties in Tebo District. The findings are expected to provide an overview of the potential for revenue that is not yet optimal at the local level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This report is part of a study conducted by Article 33 Indonesia to map strategic issues related to the forestry and mining sectors at the regional level. Each district has different revenue characteristics, and this study aims to identify patterns of revenue leakage that occur and provide policy recommendations that can help improve the management of the sector at the local level. This study also aims to provide a deeper picture of the revenue potential that can be maximized with more effective implementation of SIP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
