This study explores the impact of the Village Cash for Work Program (PKTD) on improving access to water and infrastructure in Mandahu Village and Makamenggit Village, East Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The focus is on improving village roads that facilitate the distribution of clean water, access to education, and health services. The study highlights how this program can improve the quality of life of the community while encouraging women's participation in village development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This report is part of a study conducted by Article 33 Indonesia to identify development strategies in villages with low basic infrastructure. The involvement of women in PKTD planning has been shown to direct the construction of roads to clean water sources, polyclinics, and schools. This reflects the importance of women's active participation in development decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
