This study explores the impact of literacy and numeracy intervention programs conducted by INSPIRASI in several regions in Indonesia. Focusing on Karawang and Southwest Sumba Districts, this study underlines the importance of a good practice-based approach tailored to local needs. This study aims to understand the initial conditions at the student, principal, teacher, community, and local government levels before the start of the BERSAMA intervention program by INSPIRASI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This report is part of a study designed to evaluate two major components of the INSPIRASI program, namely performance management training and technical assistance for the Education Office. Each component consists of training for supervisors, principals, teachers, and the preparation of literacy and numeracy program planning documents. The study also pays attention to the Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approach used as the primary method in supporting competency development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This report explores the potential for evidence-based policy directions to improve education quality at the sub-national level. Initial results from the program demonstrate the effective adaptation of the Global School Leaders (GSL) approach to the Indonesian context, creating a framework that is relevant for implementation in other regions.
