On January 28 2020, Article 33 Indonesia held training on qualitative research methods at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. Training specifically aimed at Indonesian Article 33 researchers is supported by KSI (Knowledge Sector Initiative). Andi Rahman Alamsyah, lecturer in Sociology at the University of Indonesia and the editorial board of MASYARAKAT: Journal of Sociology was the speaker at this training. Article 33 Indonesia researchers more often use quantitative research methods in the research they carry out. Therefore, this training was carried out to increase the understanding and ability of Article 33 Indonesia researchers in using qualitative research methods in future research. An understanding of the basics of qualitative research methods is presented at the beginning of the training. Then the training continued with an explanation of qualitative data collection methods, qualitative data processing, and qualitative data analysis.
