The Role of Quality Education in Improving Welfare

Quality education is one of the factors that can increase children's opportunities to escape the poverty trap - a condition where households have difficulty accessing public services and changing their poverty status. There are 25 variables used as indicators of educational quality which are divided into human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and exam results. By using a logit regression model, this study wants to measure the effect of these education quality indicators on children's opportunities to escape poverty. And also measure the impact of education quality indicators on children's opportunities to remain prosperous or increase their welfare.
