On 8-9 February 2017, Article 33 Indonesia held Stata training which was attended by researchers, students and the general public. Stata is a statistical software that has very complete capabilities for processing panel and time series data in quantitative research. Stata can also be used for data with a large number of observations and many variables. So Stata is often used in processing large data such as population census data, Susenas and Sakrnas. Large quantitative studies in Indonesia such as the Indonesian Household Life Species Survey (SAKERTI) also use STATA. Large institutions also often use this software in processing their data, such as BPS, TNP2K, WorldBank and others.

The aim of this training is to introduce participants to Stata and existing facilities for data processing purposes, how to use Stata for basic statistics, basic Stata programming, participants can use Stata for data management purposes. Apart from that, this training is expected to provide participants with an understanding of how big data management is carried out in research studies with a large number of respondents and relationships between other respondents.
