Implementation of Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) Education in State High Schools (SMA) in DKI Jakarta

The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is currently rolling out an initiative to implement the Public Service Agency (PPK-BLU) financial management pattern in state high schools (SMA). A similar initiative has been carried out at a number of state vocational high schools (SMK) in DKI Jakarta by making them Regional Public Service Bodies (BLUD). With the BLUD scheme, schools are given flexibility in using their budget and determining their organizational structure, including the use of non-PNS workers which is expected to increase school professionalism. In the end, the final goal to be achieved from implementing BLUD is increasing the quality of education in DKI Jakarta.
