INSTITUTION DESCRIPTION
Article 33 Indonesia is a policy research institute for inclusive development issues. Starting with the name Pattiro Institute, Article 33 Indonesia's research work began in 2009. As of July 2012, the Pattiro Institute officially changed to Article 33 Indonesia.

Article 33 Indonesia has produced various research in the areas of: (a) regulatory mapping and regulatory framework; (b) education; (c) village development and 3T area management of natural resources (SDA); (d) health; (e) forestry; and (f) population. Apart from research, Article 33 Indonesia has also provided various policy development assistance for relevant governments and built networks with various relevant civil society organizations.

JOB SUMMARY
Communications Staff will support Article 33 Indonesia in communicating the results of Article 33 Indonesia's work, both research, policy development and community empowerment, to stakeholders, policy makers, fellow research/advocacy institutions and the wider community. The Communications Staff will work closely with the Article 33 Indonesia team, including fellow communications teams, research teams, manager teams and administration teams, who have various backgrounds in areas of expertise.

For this reason, the Communication Staff is responsible for developing effective and attractive communication tools, both for internal communication systems and external communication systems. This is aimed at improving branding and realizing the mission of Article 33 Indonesia.

WORK DESCRIPTION
The Communication Staff position is part of the Article 33 Indonesia communications team. The position includes the following responsibilities:

1. Producing both printed and online communication materials, for example web content, infographics, fact sheets, e-posters and e-brochures;
2. Operate and manage the institution's website;
3. Manage information on social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube;
4. Organizing events organized by Article 33 Indonesia, such as public discussions and training;
5. Support the program team in producing dissemination materials and activity information, such as research reports, policy summaries, bulletins and lessons learned stories;
6. Collaborate with third parties involved in the production of documentation for Article 33 Indonesia activities, for example related to the production of video documentaries and podcasts;
7. Document and manage the institution's filing system.

QUALIFICATION
1. Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field, for example journalism, communications or marketing;
2. Work experience in public relations, communications or journalism, ideally in the context of policy research and advocacy;
3. Good Indonesian and English language skills, both spoken and written;
4. Experience in compiling content in various media, in print, web and social formats (confirmed with examples of work in Indonesian and English);
5. Knowledge of the issues that are the focus of Article 33 Indonesia's work will be given greater consideration;
6. Proficiency in applying relevant content management applications and graphic design software;
7. Interest in photography and image processing;
