INSTITUTION DESCRIPTION

Yayasan Artikel Tiga Tiga Indonesia is a policy research institution for inclusive development issues. Artikel Tiga Tiga Indonesia has produced various researches especially in 4 main areas: (a) education; (b) regional economy; (c) natural resources/climate change; (d) Gender Equity, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI). In addition to research, Artikel Tiga Tiga Indonesia has also provided various policy development assistance for related governments and built networks with various relevant civil society organizations.

Article 33 requires a position Senior Researcher in the Natural Resource, Climate and Energy (NRCE) Division. Under the supervision of the Head of the Natural Resource, Climate and Energy (NRCE) Division, the senior researcher will play a key role in developing the institution's strategy, research direction and policy advocacy, building relationships with relevant parties, and contributing to the institution's creative and innovative development. The Senior Researcher position is expected to lead and develop the capacity of individuals involved in the program.

LOCATION & HOW IT WORKS

Implementing work mode hybrid with the majority of work done online remote (WFH), while WFO is adjusted to the needs of a particular project or activity. The Article 33 Indonesia office is located in Jakarta.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Involved in developing research directions and policy advocacy related to NRCE in programs carried out by the institution
• Carrying out program implementation, research, and policy advocacy
• Conducting dissemination of policy research and across all implementation of policy research.
• Involved in organizational development and policy research division.
• Carry out all coordination, administration and reporting activities of work results in accordance with organizational procedures.
• Engage in regular discussions to improve team members' capacity and knowledge on NRCE issues.

SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree with 7 years' experience or Master's degree with 4 years' relevant experience in the field of natural resources, climate and energy
• Have experience conducting research, policy advocacy, and being involved in program management in the fields of natural resources, climate, and energy,
• Having experience in being responsible for national/international donor programs and government programs will be an added value.
• Having a strong network in natural resources, climate and energy issues will be an added value.
• Domiciled in Jabodetabek
• Willing to be in Jakarta and surrounding areas if there is a need to hold offline meetings

• Fluency in English and Indonesian both verbally and in writing;
• Have initiative, creativity and problem solving skills;
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
• Uphold the principles and policies of Article 33 Indonesia.
