Article 33 Indonesia is a policy research institute for inclusive development issues. Article 33 Indonesia has produced various research in the areas of: (a) regulatory mapping and regulatory framework; (b) education; (c) village development and 3T area management of natural resources (SDA); (d) health; (e) forestry; and (f) population. Apart from research, Article 33 Indonesia has also provided various policy development assistance for relevant governments and built networks with various relevant civil society organizations.

JOB SUMMARY
The Media Officer will support Article 33 Indonesia in communicating the results of Article 33 Indonesia's work, both research, policy development and community empowerment, to stakeholders, policy makers, fellow research/advocacy institutions and the wider community. The Media Officer will work closely with the Article 33 Indonesia team, including fellow communications teams, research teams, manager teams and administration teams, who have various backgrounds in areas of expertise.
For this reason, the Media Officer is responsible for formulating strategies and developing effective and attractive communication tools. This is aimed at increasing public and stakeholder confidence in Article 33 Indonesia's performance and the growth of the Article 33 Indonesia organization in the future.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Media Officer position will be directly part of the Article 33 Indonesia communications team and is responsible to the Executive Director, Program Manager and Communication Specialist. This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Helping Communication Specialists design and develop Article 33 Indonesia products, such as e-poster, e-brochure, infographics, factsheets, etc;
- Helping Communication Specialists manage Article 33 Indonesia's social media and other Article 33 Indonesia business lines, in the form of: Linkedin, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter, etc., with the scope:
- Create a design based on content planning which has been created by a Communication Specialist;
- Posting content designs that have been created regularly;
- Interact with the audience online and regularly;
- Develop a communication strategy on social media;
- Create weekly and monthly reports.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, for example communications, marketing or graphic design;
- Minimum one (1) year of work experience managing communications or journalism and documentation, preferably related to research and policy advocacy;
- Have experience in developing communication strategies as well as developing, writing and designing content in various media, in print, web and social media formats (confirmed with examples of work in Indonesian and English);
- Good Indonesian and English language skills, both spoken and written;
- Knowledge of the issues that are the focus of Article 33 Indonesia's work will be an added value;
- Proficiency in applying relevant content management applications and graphic design software;
- Willing to work both independently and with a team with a flexible schedule, and uphold the principles and policies of Article 33 Indonesia.
