The Role of Quality Education in Improving Welfare

Peran Pendidikan Berkualitas Dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan

Quality education is one factor that can increase children's chances of escaping the poverty trap—a situation where households struggle to access public services and improve their poverty status. Twenty-five variables are used as indicators of education quality, divided into human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and exam results. Using a logit regression model, this study aims to measure the effect of these education quality indicators on children's chances of escaping poverty. It also measures the impact of these education quality indicators on children's chances of maintaining or improving their well-being.
