Executive Director is a professional position in Article 33 Indonesia which carries out its obligations in supporting the vision, mission, goals, basic values, regulations and decisions of Article 33 Indonesia. The Executive Director manages the day-to-day affairs of the organization. The Executive Director's responsibilities are as follows:
- Prepare work programs and draft annual budgets.
- Manage the daily operations of the organization and implement the work program that has been determined at the General Meeting of Members.
- Developing organizational capacity through fundraising, various other resources, promotions, network expansion, with the assistance of Association Members.
- Recruit, appoint, develop capacity, and evaluate the performance of Governing Body staff.
- Facilitate Association Members, Advisory Council, and Ethics Council in carrying out their duties.

MAIN TASK
Main Task 1: Human Resources Development
The Executive Director is responsible for maintaining a productive work environment in the secretariat, including appropriate evaluation and supervision of all staff and consultants and capacity building for each staff and consultant. The Executive Director has responsibility for affirmative action and equal opportunity in terms of recruitment and positions in the organization.
Main Task 2: Monitoring and Evaluation
The Executive Director, together with the Board, monitors and evaluates the level of success of annual programs (both in terms of activities, output and outcomes) along with suitability to planning and timeliness.
Main Task 3: Board Meetings
The Executive Director is responsible for organizing, facilitating, and setting the agenda for Board meetings. The Executive Director coordinates the preparation of accountability reports to the Board, which are then presented at Board Meetings.
Main Task 4: Publication
The Executive Director manages the publication of various forms of research output and other publications and ensures the timeliness of production and publication of output. The Executive Director leads the management of coordination with editors, reviewers and publishers.
Main Task 5: Communication
The Executive Director is responsible for representing the institution at meetings that require input from institutional leaders, including at meetings related to funding and policy development in Ministries/Institutions (K/L) and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD). at sub-national level.

QUALIFICATION
- Experienced in managing research institutions in the fields of mining, forestry, village development, education and/or environment and climate change for at least 10 years.
- Experienced in program management and institutional finance (including fundraising) for at least 5 years.
- Have good writing and oral communication skills.
- Have experience coordinating research in the fields of mining, forestry, village development, education and/or environment and climate change.
- Have knowledge and understanding of institutional management, coordination, facilitation and writing of project/activity reports.
- Have communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Can follow developments in communication technology, such as websites and social media.
