INSTITUTION DESCRIPTION

Article 33 Indonesia is a policy research institute for inclusive development issues. Article 33 Indonesia has produced various research in the areas of: (a) regulatory mapping and regulatory framework; (b) education; (c) village development and 3T area management of natural resources (SDA); (d) health; (e) forestry; and (f) population. JOB SUMMARY

Accounting Staff will support Article 33 Indonesia in managing finances, fulfilling the institution's financial administration process and auditing the institution's finances. This includes meeting donor financial standards and institutional needs. The Finance Officer will work together with the management team and the Article 33 Indonesia program team.

QUALIFICATION

  1. Male/Female Age not more than 28 years 
  2. Minimum education is S1 with a concentration in Accounting 
  3. Can operate Excel, Word and Office and Others.
  4. Having experience using Sango accounting software is preferred and understanding electronic payment methods
  5. Have a willingness to learn, be active and responsive at work and can work with a team 
  6. Understanding E-SPT taxation etc. is a priority

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Finance Officer position will report to the Executive Director and Finance Manager. This position has responsibility for managing institutional finances with the following scope:

  1. Carrying out and fulfilling institutional administrative documents, such as tax administration;
  2. Responsible for fulfilling the institution's financial accounting management, which includes:

a. Journal of transactions and accountability for software and voucher issuance;

b. Create journals and post ledger accounting software;

c. Monitoring accounting estimates in accounting software;

d. Report the financial position and activity reports of the institution every month.

  1. Support the finance team in meeting the needs of donors and covering institutions;

a. Carry out monitoring disbursement project;

b. Complete the required documents that will be reported to the donor.

  1. Conduct internal financial audits of institutions and projects on a regular basis;
  2. Work collaboratively with the finance team in meeting institutional and program needs.
  3. Regular coordination with the program team and management
