Peningkatan Kapasitas tentang Standar Pelayanan Minimal dan Perencanaan Daerah bersama Article 33 Indonesia

Jakarta, August 28, 2024 – Article 33 Indonesia, supported by Local Education Group Indonesia, held a capacity building activity for regional education planning at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel. The activity was attended by representatives from 29 institutions, both partners and non-partners of Indonesian education.

This event aims to strengthen participants' understanding of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in the field of education and how these standards can be utilized in the planning process at the regional level. In addition, this activity is also designed to increase participants' knowledge of the importance regional education report as data-based evaluation and planning tools more effective. Through this activity, it is expected that there will be increased support from various non-governmental institutions, education observers, and development partners in ensuring more focused education planning that is in accordance with regional needs.

Event Content This event presents various presentations by experts who are experienced in regional education planning:

  • Jefri Francis, a team of experts from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, explained the flow and mechanisms of regional planning, and emphasized the importance of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in ensuring the quality of education services in each region.
  • Irsyad Zamjani, The Head of the Center for Education Standards and Policies of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, further explained the SPM for education and the role of the Education Report as an instrument for evaluating the quality of education services at the regional level.
  • Francesca Nuraini, The Head of the Evaluation Substance Team for Education Policies and Systems of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, introduced the Regional Education Report as a data-based planning tool that helps local governments monitor and evaluate the quality of education.
  • Didier Nasrudin, Secretary of the Pekalongan Regency Education Office, shared the local government's direct experience in utilizing Education Report Card data to improve the quality of education services in Pekalongan Regency.

This event emphasizes the importance of data-driven planning And cross-sector collaboration in supporting local governments to achieve better education targets. With this capacity development, it is hoped that participants can play an active role in strengthening education planning and budgeting in their respective regions, as well as improving the quality of education services in Indonesia.

Continuous support from all parties is expected to strengthen the education planning system at the regional level, so that education services can be more evenly distributed and of higher quality throughout Indonesia.
