This study explores the accessibility of health services for people with disabilities in Indonesia based on Law Number 8 of 2016 and Law Number 39 of 1999. This study highlights the importance of efforts to reduce the gap in access and welfare between people with disabilities and non-disabled communities, especially in terms of health services. By focusing on the challenges and potentials that exist in various regions, this study provides an important basis for understanding how more inclusive efforts can improve the accessibility of health services for people with disabilities.
This book is part of a study compiled by Article 33 Indonesia in order to map strategic issues related to accessibility of health services for people with disabilities in various regions. Each region has different challenges, and this study aims to identify the most appropriate steps based on the local conditions of each region. This study also aims to provide relevant recommendations for local governments to support improving the quality of more inclusive health services.
This book delves deeper into potential policies that can improve accessibility of health services for people with disabilities. For more complete information on the research findings and proposed policies, please visit the links below.
