Article 33 Indonesia researchers received Geographic Information Systems (GIS) training in order to increase the capacity of the Article 33 Indonesia team. This training was carried out in several sessions over 4 training days, namely on 17-18 February and 12-13 March 2020. There were several materials presented in this GIS training, namely about introduction to ArcCatalog, introduction to ArcMap, introduction and analysis of vector data, introduction and analysis raster data as well as layout of topographic maps and thematic maps.

The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) training was facilitated by several people, namely Agus M. Maulana (CIFOR) as team leader and assisted by several assistants from ITB, namely Desiana Zulvianita, Esther Adinda and Muhammad Yarzugh Zakka. Apart from providing material about GIS, this training also provides examples of case studies that can be applied by Article 33 Indonesia researchers. With this training, Article 33 Indonesia researchers can carry out spatial analysis involving raster data, vector data and can create layouts on topographic maps and thematic maps.
