INSTITUTION DESCRIPTION
Article 33 Indonesia is a policy research institute for inclusive development issues. Article 33 Indonesia has produced various research in the areas of: (a) regulatory mapping and regulatory framework; (b) education; (c) village development and 3T area management of natural resources (SDA); (d) health; (e) forestry; and (f) population. Apart from research, Article 33 Indonesia has also provided various policy development assistance for relevant governments and built networks with various relevant civil society organizations, where one of the activities carried out by Article 33 Indonesia is research and policy making.

LOCATION
This position will be placed in Jakarta, so it will prioritize candidates who live in Jakarta.
JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the Article 33 Indonesia Management Team, Project Leader (Project Leader) responsible for complying with Indonesia's Article 33 policy and leading program implementation and development processes. Project Leaders are expected to be able to lead, coordinate and manage a project including planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, coordination, decision making and creating project reports.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the project management team in carrying out their duties and responsibilities
- Coordinating with the team, making detailed plans for activities and budgets and their achievements
- Ensure that activities run in accordance with the activity plan and budget and in accordance with the achievement targets
- Able to mitigate risks that arise in the implementation of activities and budgets
- Lead monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of project activities and budget
- Coordinate intensively with the Research team, Government and Article 33 management team
- Manage reports and recapitulate the entire process of reporting activities and outputs periodically
- Together with the team, carry out the audit process and manage responses to audit findings
- Analyze team workload and suitability to budget
Expected Project Leader will produce the following output:
- RAB Document
- Project progress reports (monthly, preliminary report, progress report and final report).
- Project evaluation and monitoring reports
- Audit results with the auditor
- Results of monitoring reviews of the performance of the expert team and management team.
- Results of review of output results and suggestions for improvement.
- Review the results of project achievements
QUALIFICATION
Education
- Minimum Masters or PhD in an equivalent field in education or other related fields
Experience
- Have a minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in work relevant to the formulation of public policy
- Has held a managerial position
- Have experience of current education and policy issues
- Have experience working together with Government projects
General Competencies
- Able to adapt to varied work environments and have good interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and in a team consisting of various backgrounds, beliefs, ethnicities and cultures and nationalities
- Have good leadership and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Indonesian both verbally and in writing
- Have initiative, creativity and problem solving skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Uphold the principles and policies of Article 33 Indonesia.
