Sekayu, InfoPublik – Article 33 Indonesia, in collaboration with FITRA Sumsel, held a focused discussion forum that brought together the Musi Banyuasin Regency Government with village officials who have an impact on mining at the Ranggonang Hotel, Thursday (28/1).
The focused discussion forum aims to formulate and identify village development programs and potential that have an impact on mining according to the priority needs of the village community as well as agree on programs for fiscal gaps and other resources available in the village to be further encouraged in the Muba Regency Government development program.
Hadi Prayidyo as a researcher at Article 33 Indonesia, wants to bridge village development based on the resources and authority that are now owned by the village together with the district government.
"Returning the benefits obtained from mining potential directly to regions and villages whose income and impacts from mining is in order to equalize income and distribute the benefits of natural resources in accordance with the ideals of article 33 of the 1945 Constitution," he said.
Meanwhile, Herman, a representative from Agency for the Environment and Research Development (BLHPP) Muba, said that the Muba Regency Government had issued a fund allocation program of 1 billion 1 village which had been running for four years.
