The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) launched an integrated map system called ESDM One Map. Through this map in the form of a portal, the public can access various geospatial data in the energy and mineral resources sector in Indonesia online.
Minister of Energy, Resources and Minerals (ESDM) Ignasius Jonan said, this portal is a manifestation of the one map policy (one map policy) contained in the Phase VII Economic Policy Package. The aim is to avoid overlap between regions and licensing areas.

This portal allows information disclosure for stakeholders, especially investors. As a result, it can increase investor confidence. "This is important. "In my opinion, public information should not be hidden for any reason," said Jonan at the launch One Map in his office, Wednesday (31/5).
There is various information presented, including geological potential ranging from minerals, coal, geothermal, solid bitumen and methane gas and coal (Coal Bed Methane/CBM). Apart from that, data regarding Mining Business Permit (IUP) areas, oil and gas working areas, and geothermal working areas.
There is also upstream oil and gas data such as wells, refineries, 2D seismic and 3D seismic. One Map also contains data on forest areas and electricity infrastructure, including generators, substations, transmission networks and distribution networks.
One Map this has been linked to Minerba One Map Indonesia (MOMI) which was built by the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal. Therefore, even though it has just been launched, this portal already provides data for more than 500 districts, cities and 34 provinces.
With the available data, it is hoped that it will make it easier for investors to prepare investment plans in the ESDM sector. Apart from that, the public can freely access existing data. In fact, the data will continue to be updated and synchronized with data from SKK Migas and the Directorate General of Minerals and Coal.

For Provincial/Regency/City governments, this portal allows them to see the condition of Mining Business Permits (WIUP) in their respective areas. That way, the government can avoid overlaps with Mining Business Permits (IUP), as well as evaluate IUPs and Geothermal Working Areas located in forest areas.
On the other hand, Jonan reminded us about portal security. The reason is that vital data like this is vulnerable to being hacked. "Because this has just been launched, I ask the Pusdatin (ESDM Data and Information Technology Center) that this must be improved, especially security firewalls, because if not, people will definitely try to get in," he said.
Head of the ESDM Data and Data Center, Susetyo Edi Prabowo, hopes that this portal can eliminate various problems caused by differences in reference data. For this reason, his party will continue to update the data and increase the efficiency of distribution management time.
This portal is also the result of Energy Coordination and Supervision (Korsup) activities carried out jointly between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). "The development of ESDM One Map Indonesia is a form of energy supervision initiated by the Corruption Eradication Commission and ESDM, namely the development of an integrated data system," he said.

Apart from One Map, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources launched the Budget Realization Monitoring Application (Amora). This application allows the public to monitor the implementation of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' budget.
The public can monitor the budget ceiling, its realization, the budget disbursement process, contracts for the procurement of goods and services, reports of deductions and taxes, as well as the budget ceiling.
