Bandung, IDN Times – The revival of the national economy is a concern for the government after almost two years of being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. The regional government's strategy for innovation during the pandemic is claimed to be able to grow the economy.
In West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), for example, Governor Zulkieflimansyah explained the strategy implemented by his region during the COVID-19 pandemic, in accordance with what was announced by President Joko Widodo.
“(Strategy) Focus on two things: one of them is trying as hard as possible to reduce this pandemic by reducing the negative impact on the health sector. "The way to do this is by increasing awareness of health protocols so that health problems can be reduced," said Zulkieflimansyah, in a press release received by IDN Times, Friday (19/11/2021).
The challenge is, while implementing health protocols, local governments are required not to cause the economy to die. "Don't survive the pandemic but the economy is in chaos," he said.
