On March 7-9, 2024, the Article 33 Indonesia Team together with the Customary Law Community (MHA) in the Marena, Orong, and Tangsa areas carried out FPIC (Free, Prior, and Informed Consent) activities for the TERRA-CF program funded by the Environmental Fund Management Agency (BPDLH).

Through the FPIC process, indigenous peoples are actively involved in decision-making related to the TERRA-CF program in their area. The signing of the FPIC signifies Article 33 Indonesia's commitment to respect indigenous peoples' rights and ensure that the TERRA-CF program will benefit local communities.
